Jürgen van Wessel
Jürgen has worked in CRM for over 20 years, with experience in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, France, Saudi Arabia and Canada. He has led heritage work on client projects of all sizes, including several major highway and rail schemes, power generation and transmission, commercial and residential developments, forestry and more. From prospection, monitoring, testing, excavation, reporting, illustration and publication, Jürgen has built up personal experience over the full gamut of archaeological project work. Throughout his career, he has developed a very strong specialism in applied technology, starting as a surveyor and working up to several senior leadership roles in technology and innovation.
At Circle, Jürgen is responsible for Alberta Operations, with a focus on developing our field teams and our capacity to better serve our clients. He also provides overall leadership on technology. Outside of work, Jürgen spends as much time as possible out in the woods with his wife, two wee kids and two daft spaniels, and occasionally runs up and down some steep hills because… they are there? He is currently perfecting his posh instant ramen lunchtime routine.
